The Otter River is a river located in the northwestern part of Ontario, Canada. It flows through the Kenora District in northwestern Ontario. This river is part of a much larger water system that eventually drains into Hudson Bay. It's like a smaller stream that helps feed a bigger river!
Where the Otter River Flows
The Otter River begins its journey at a place called Otter Lake. From there, it flows towards the northeast. It is a "right tributary" of the Fawn River. This means it joins the Fawn River from the right side if you were looking downstream.
Journey to Hudson Bay
Once the Otter River's water joins the Fawn River, it continues its long trip. The Fawn River then flows into the Severn River. Finally, the Severn River carries all this water all the way to Hudson Bay. This entire area, where all the water flows into Hudson Bay, is called the drainage basin of Hudson Bay.
