The Palomino Islands (in Spanish: Islas Palomino) are a group of small islands near the coast of Callao, Peru. These islands are home to many sea lions and seabirds. Because of this, they have become a very popular place for tourists to visit.

Where are the Palomino Islands?
The Palomino Islands are a group of four small islets. They are located about 6 miles west of the port city of Callao. This is on the western coast, close to San Lorenzo Island.
What can you see on the islands?
The islands are a special place where you can see many sea lions living freely in their natural habitat. There are also huge groups of seabirds living here.
Animals and birds
On the coasts of the islands, you can find many different kinds of birds. These include gulls, guanayes, zarcillos, boobies, Peruvian pelicans, patillos, and red-legged cormorants.
Other interesting spots
At the highest point of the main island, there is an old lighthouse. This lighthouse used to guide ships and steamers that came to the port of Callao. There is also a water passage on the island that people call the Catedral de las Islas Palomino (Cathedral of the Palomino Islands).
