Paoli (pronounced pay-OH-luh) is a small town in Garvin County, Oklahoma, United States. In 2010, about 610 people lived there. The town got its name from Paoli, Pennsylvania. Many of the railroad workers who built the town came from that area.
Paoli's History
A post office opened in Paoli, which was then part of the Indian Territory, on June 27, 1888. The town was named after Paoli, Pennsylvania. When it was first founded, Paoli was located in Pickens County, Chickasaw Nation.

Paoli is a small town, covering about 0.37 square miles (0.95 square kilometers). A tiny part of this area is water.
The town is located where two main roads meet: U.S. Route 77 and State Highway 145. It is also about 3 miles (5 km) east of Interstate 35. If you go north on US 77, you'll reach Purcell in about 15 miles (24 km). If you go south, you'll find Pauls Valley, which is the main town of Garvin County, about 7 miles (11 km) away.
