Park Holme is a suburb located in the south-west of Adelaide, South Australia. It's part of the City of Marion area. This suburb is about 8 kilometers (5 miles) from the very center of Adelaide.
Park Holme has clear borders. To the east, you'll find Marion Road. Hendrie Street is its western border. Oaklands Road marks its southern edge, and Tarranna Avenue is just north of it. The suburb covers an area of about 1.15 square kilometers. In 2016, about 2,915 people lived in Park Holme.

Getting Around Park Holme
It's easy to get around Park Holme using public transport. Two bus routes serve the area directly. The M44 bus travels from Golden Grove in the north-east, through the city, and then to Westfield Marion. The 248 bus travels along Hendrie Street.
If you prefer trains, there are two stations nearby. Ascot Park Train Station is just east of Marion Road. Marion Train Station is south of Oaklands Road.
Fun Places and Parks
Park Holme has several nice reserves where you can relax and play.
- A large reserve is located at the corner of Duncan Avenue and Hendrie Street. It has a playground, a half-court basketball hoop, and BBQ areas.
- The South Park Holme Tennis Club grounds also have a public playground. You can find it at the corner of Ragless Avenue and Sanderson Avenue.
- Mulcra Avenue Reserve has a playground that was updated in 2012. It also features a full-size basketball court and a tennis court.
Important Buildings and Services
Even though it's named for a nearby suburb, Ascot Park Primary School is actually in Park Holme. It's located near Marion Road, Pildappa Avenue, and Duncan Avenue. This school site is also home to other important centers:
- Warradale Community Child Care Centre
- Kilparrin Teaching and Assessment School for students with sight or hearing difficulties
- The South Australian School for the Vision Impaired
Ascot Park Kindergarten is also in Park Holme, on Marion Road.
The Marion Library Service has a branch in Park Holme on Duncan Avenue. It's a great place to find books and learn.
The City of Marion Council offers a community hall for hire. The Park Holme Community Hall is at 638 Marion Road. It hosts many local events and classes.
The Marion Swimming Centre is on Hendrie Street. It's an outdoor swimming pool open from mid-spring to mid-autumn.
For shopping, the Westfield Marion shopping center is just a few minutes' drive away.
The suburb also has the Springpark Baptist Church on Hendrie Street. The Islamic Society of South Australia has a mosque here too. It's called Masjid Omar Bin Al Khattab, or Marion Masjid, and is on the corner of Marion Road and Condada Avenue.
