Park Kun-ha, born on July 25, 1971, is a famous former football player from South Korea. He played as a professional footballer and later became a coach. He is well-known for his time with the Suwon Samsung Bluewings, where he helped the team win many important championships.
Park Kun-ha's Football Journey
Park Kun-ha was born in Daejeon, South Korea. He started his professional football career in 1996. He was one of the first players for the Suwon Samsung Bluewings team.
Playing for Suwon Bluewings
When he first started, Park Kun-ha played as a striker. Strikers are players who focus on scoring goals. He scored many goals for the Bluewings. He helped them win the K-League championship in 1998 and 1999.
He also helped the team win the Asian Champions Cup in 2001. The Bluewings then won the Asian Super Cup in 2002. These were big wins for the team in Asia.
Later in his career, Park Kun-ha changed his position. He started playing as a defender. Defenders help protect their team's goal from opponents. He helped the Bluewings win their third K-League championship.
Awards and Retirement
With the Suwon Bluewings, Park Kun-ha won three K-League championships. He also won the Rookie of the Year award in 1996. This award is given to the best new player in the league.
Park Kun-ha stopped playing football in 2006. After retiring as a player, he became an assistant coach for the Suwon Bluewings' main team. In 2009, he became the manager for the Suwon Bluewings' U18 team. This team is for players under 18 years old. It is also known as the Maetan High School Football Club.
