Partridge Lake is a beautiful lake located in the Cochrane District of Northeastern Ontario, Canada. It's an important part of the local water system.
This lake is special because it is the beginning, or "source," of the Partridge River. Water flows out of the lake from the middle of its east side, starting the journey of the Partridge River.
The Partridge River then travels all the way to James Bay. James Bay is a large body of water that is part of the even bigger Hudson Bay. This means Partridge Lake is connected to a huge network of rivers and bays that eventually lead to the Arctic Ocean!
There are also five smaller streams that flow into Partridge Lake. These streams don't have official names, but they help keep the lake full of fresh water.
