Pascagama Lake is a freshwater lake in the eastern part of Senneterre, Quebec, Canada. It is located in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region. The lake stretches across the areas known as Deschamps, Logan, and Bernier townships.

The main activity around the lake is forestry, which means cutting down trees for wood. After forestry, tourism is important. People enjoy the lake because they can travel by boat for many kilometers. This includes the Pascagama River, Mégiscane River, Bernier Lake, Kekek River, Ouiscatis Lake, and Canusio Lake.

You can reach the lake's area by using forest roads. These roads lead to different peninsulas around the lake. The lake's surface usually freezes from early November until the end of April. However, it is generally safe to walk or drive on the ice from early December to mid-April.

About Pascagama Lake

Pascagama Lake looks like a big letter "V" when you see it on a map. The eastern part of the "V" is where the Mégiscane River flows in from the northeast. The western part of the "V" is where the Pascagama River continues from the north. The Chartrand River also flows into a bay on the west side of the lake's northern part.

This lake is about 22.4 kilometres (13.9 mi) long. At its widest point, it measures about 2.7 kilometres (1.7 mi) across. The lake sits at an elevation of about 390 metres (1,280 ft) above sea level.

Pascagama Lake has many interesting features. It has several bays, like André Bay in the southern part. There are also many peninsulas (land almost surrounded by water) and islands. One important island is Renard Island, located in the northern part of the lake.

The water from Pascagama Lake flows out into the Mégiscane River from the southern end. This area where the water flows out has many small islands, forming an archipelago.
