Patrick Graham (born January 24, 1979) is an American football coach. He is currently the defensive coordinator for the Las Vegas Raiders in the National Football League (NFL). Before joining the Raiders, he worked with teams like the New York Giants, Miami Dolphins, Green Bay Packers, and New England Patriots.

Early Football Days
Patrick Graham played college football at Yale University. He was a defensive lineman for the Yale Bulldogs. In 2002, he earned a degree in sociology from Yale.
Coaching Career Highlights
After his time as a player, Graham began his journey as a coach. He started by helping out college teams.
College Coaching
Graham started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Wagner College from 2002 to 2003. He also studied for his MBA during this time. Later, he moved to the University of Richmond. There, he coached the defensive line in 2004. He then coached tight ends from 2005 to 2006.
In 2007, Graham became a defensive graduate assistant at the University of Notre Dame. He worked under head coach Charlie Weis. In 2009, he briefly coached the defensive line at the University of Toledo.
NFL Coaching Journey
Patrick Graham has coached for several teams in the NFL. He has held many different roles.
New England Patriots
In February 2009, Graham joined the New England Patriots. He started as a defensive coaching assistant. His role changed to defensive assistant coach in 2010. He was promoted to linebackers coach in 2011.
From 2012 to 2013, he coached the defensive line. He then returned to coaching linebackers from 2014 to 2015. During his time with the Patriots, he won a Super Bowl title. This happened when the Patriots beat the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX.
New York Giants (First Time)
In 2016, the New York Giants hired Graham. He became the team's defensive line coach. He worked with the Giants for two seasons.
Green Bay Packers
In 2018, Graham moved to the Green Bay Packers. He took on the role of run game coordinator. He also coached linebackers for the team.
Miami Dolphins
On February 8, 2019, the Miami Dolphins announced Graham as their new defensive coordinator. This move reunited him with Brian Flores, who was also a former Patriots coach.
New York Giants (Second Time)
On January 17, 2020, Graham returned to the New York Giants. He was hired as the assistant head coach and defensive coordinator. He worked under head coach Joe Judge. They had previously worked together with the Patriots.
Las Vegas Raiders
On February 4, 2022, Graham was hired by the Las Vegas Raiders. He became their defensive coordinator under new head coach Josh McDaniels. Graham had worked with McDaniels on the New England Patriots from 2012 to 2015.
On February 1, 2024, the Raiders announced that Graham would continue in his role. This was under new head coach Antonio Pierce. The Raiders confirmed on January 31, 2025, that Graham would stay with the team. This time, it was under new head coach Pete Carroll.
Personal Life
Patrick Graham is married to Pamela Best. They have two children together. Their children's names are Morgan and Silas.
