Paul Kevin Rugg is an American writer, producer, voice actor, and puppeteer. He is famous for his voice roles in popular shows like Freakazoid!, Pig Goat Banana Cricket, and Earth to Ned. He has also helped create and write many animated series.

About Paul Rugg
Paul Rugg has worked a lot in the world of animation. He has written for, produced, and voiced characters in many cartoons. One of his first voice roles was Mr. Director in Animaniacs.
Later, he became the voice of the main character in Freakazoid!. He also voiced Nostradamus in Histeria! and the funny villain Dark Lord Chuckles the Silly Piggy in Disney's Dave the Barbarian. He was also the voice of Gweelok in Secret Mountain Fort Awesome on Cartoon Network.
Paul Rugg also appeared on TV as a live-action character named Manny. This was for the Manny the Uncanny short shows on Disney's One Saturday Morning on ABC.
He helped create and direct a show called The Sam Plenty Cavalcade of Action Show Plus Singing! for The Jim Henson Company. He also voiced Principal Rotwood in the Disney Channel series American Dragon Jake Long.
Before his big animation career, Paul Rugg was an improvisational actor. He performed at the ACME Comedy Theatre in Los Angeles. There, he created the character Manny the Uncanny.
Paul Rugg joined the Warner Bros. Animation team in the 1990s. He was a very important part of many of their cartoon series. He has also worked with Brian Henson on puppet projects like Puppet Up!. He later reunited with Henson to voice Ned in the show Earth to Ned.
Paul Rugg has been nominated for several Emmy Awards, which are big awards for TV shows. He has won three of them! He used to live near Los Angeles with his wife, Maria, and their daughter, Jillian. In 2023, he moved to Virginia to be closer to his daughter's family.
Paul Rugg has two dogs. One was a Chihuahua named Lucky, who was in a popular online video. His other dog is named Marge.
