Peng Yuchang (simplified Chinese: 彭昱畅; traditional Chinese: 彭昱暢; pinyin: Péng Yùchàng, born October 25, 1994) is a Chinese actor and singer. He became well-known after acting in the movie Our Shining Days. He also starred in Hu Bo's film An Elephant Sitting Still, which won awards.

In 2019, CCTV-6 named Peng one of the "New Generation Four Young Actors Skilled in Acting." He was on this list with Liu Haoran, Leo Wu, and Hu Xianxu.

Forbes China also put Peng on their "30 Under 30 Asia 2019" list. This list features 30 important people under 30 years old. Peng was also ranked on the Forbes China Celebrity 100 list in 2019 and 2020.

Early Life

Peng Yuchang was born in Xinyu, a city in Jiangxi, China. When he was a child, his grandparents often took care of him. This was because his parents were busy with work.

He started learning to play the saxophone when he was young. In 2012, he went to the Shanghai Theatre Academy. He studied puppetry there. During his time at the academy, he performed in plays like Come On, My Life!.

Peng started his acting career in 2015. His first role was in a web drama called Go Princess Go. He played a character named Eunuch Jiang and people noticed his acting. In 2016, he acted in another web drama, Stardom. He played a young artist who wanted to be famous.

That same year, Peng got his first main role in a fantasy web drama, Weapon & Soul. He also starred in Men with Sword, a show made by Sohu.
