Where is Pine Grove Located?
Pine Grove is found in the northwestern part of Ferry County. It is about 3 miles (4.8 km) east of Republic, which is the main town and county seat of Ferry County. The community is right next to where two main roads, State Route 20 and State Route 21, meet.

- State Route 20 goes east for about 40 miles (64 km). It crosses Sherman Pass and leads to Kettle Falls.
- State Route 21 goes north for about 18 miles (29 km) to Curlew. If you keep going, it's about 28 miles (45 km) to the Canadian border.

The U.S. Census Bureau says that Pine Grove covers a total area of about 1.3 square kilometers (0.5 square miles). All of this area is land. Pine Grove is located in the valley of the Sanpoil River. This river flows south and eventually joins the Columbia River.
