Pleasant Valley is a city located in Clay County, Missouri, in the United States. It's a part of the larger Kansas City metropolitan area, which is a big group of cities and towns connected to Kansas City. In 2020, about 2,743 people lived here.

Geography of Pleasant Valley

Pleasant Valley is found about four miles (6.4 km) north of the Missouri River. It's also located just north of where two major highways, I-35 and I-435, meet.

The city covers a total area of about 1.23 square miles (3.19 square kilometers). All of this area is land. A small stream called Shoal Creek flows through the city, adding to its natural charm.
