Where is Portia Located?
Portia is found in the north-central part of Lawrence County. Its exact spot is 36°5′7″N 91°4′6″W / 36.08528°N 91.06833°W.

Roads and Nearby Towns
Two main roads, U.S. Route 63 and U.S. Route 412, run together through the middle of Portia.
- If you head northwest on these roads for about 2 miles (3 km), you will reach the town of Black Rock.
- If you travel southeast on U.S. Route 412 for about 6.5 miles (10.5 km), you will arrive in Walnut Ridge. This is the main town, or county seat, for Lawrence County.
- U.S. Route 63 also goes southeast from Portia, leading about 6 miles (9.7 km) to Hoxie.
