Pratt's History
The town of Pratt has an interesting past. Before 1905, it was known as Clifton.
How Pratt Got Its Name
The town was renamed Pratt after Charles Pratt. He owned the Charles Pratt Coal Company. Many buildings built by his company are still standing today. These include homes for miners and their clubhouse.
