Predrag Rajković is a professional footballer from Serbia. He was born on October 31, 1995. Predrag plays as a goalkeeper for the Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad. He also plays for the Serbia national team.

Club Career Highlights

Starting with Jagodina

Predrag Rajković began playing football at age 7 in his hometown of Negotin. His father, Saša, was also a goalkeeper. Predrag joined the Jagodina youth team in 2009. He played for their youth teams for four years.

He joined the first team for the 2011–12 season. Predrag made his first professional game for Jagodina on March 9, 2013. This was a Serbian SuperLiga match against Partizan. He played one more game that season.

Time at Red Star Belgrade

On August 28, 2013, Predrag signed a four-year contract with Red Star Belgrade. He wore jersey number 95. He was a backup goalkeeper at first. He made his first game for Red Star against Vojvodina.

Becoming a Team Captain

In the 2014–15 season, Predrag became the main goalkeeper. He kept the opponent from scoring in 16 of his 28 league games. Other players chose him as the best goalkeeper in the 2014–15 season. He even became the team captain.

Leaving Red Star Belgrade

On June 29, 2015, Predrag signed a new contract with Red Star. Many big European clubs wanted him after he won the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He was a top target for clubs like Lyon and Paris Saint Germain. Predrag played very well in games against Kairat in the UEFA Europa League. The coach of Kairat said Predrag was one of the best goalkeepers in Europe.

Playing for Maccabi Tel Aviv

On August 29, 2015, Predrag joined Maccabi Tel Aviv. He signed a five-year contract. The transfer fee was €3 million. He played his first game for them on August 30.

He played 43 games in his first season. He kept the opponent from scoring 21 times. He continued to be the main goalkeeper in the 2016–17 Israeli Premier League season. Predrag also played in 14 UEFA Europa League games. In May 2017, he was voted the club's player of the season. He won the Toto Cup with Maccabi in December 2017.

Moving to Reims

On July 23, 2019, Predrag signed a four-year contract with Stade de Reims. The transfer fee was €3 million. He joined Reims to replace their previous goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy. Predrag played his first game for Reims on August 10, 2019. They won 2–0 against Marseille.

Joining Mallorca

On July 22, 2022, Predrag signed with La Liga club Mallorca. He signed a four-year contract. Reims received €4.5 million for the transfer.

Current Club: Al-Ittihad

On August 5, 2024, Predrag moved to the Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad.

International Career

Youth Teams

Predrag played for Serbia's U-16 and U-17 national teams. He was a key player when Serbia won the 2013 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. He made many great saves and stopped penalties.

In 2014, he played for the Serbian youth team again. He saved two penalties in a shootout against the United States. In the final, he made amazing saves and was named the best goalkeeper of the tournament.

Senior National Team

In 2013, Predrag was called to play for the Serbian senior squad. He played his first game for them on August 7, 2013. This was a friendly match against Colombia.

Predrag was part of Serbia's team for the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups. He did not play in those tournaments. He also played in all three group stage matches at UEFA Euro 2024.

Personal Life

Predrag Rajković married Ana Cakić on August 8, 2018. His teammate, Saša Zdjelar, was his best man. They have two sons together.
