The President of the Senate (in Spanish: Presidente de la Cámara de Senadores) is the main leader of the Mexican Senate. Think of them as the person in charge of making sure meetings run smoothly. The current President is Senator Gerardo Fernández Noroña.
Every year, at the start of their work period, the Mexican Senate chooses a special group called the Executive Board. This board includes a President, three Vice-Presidents, and four Secretaries. They are all chosen from the 128 senators by a vote where more than half of the senators agree. The President of this board is also the President of the Senate. They can even be chosen again for the next year!
While the President of the Senate leads the Senate, which is one part of the Mexican Congress, there's also a President for the other part, the Chamber of Deputies. The President of the Chamber of Deputies is actually considered the leader of the entire Congress.
