Exploring Pumlumon Fach
The very top of Pumlumon Fach has a small pile of stones called a cairn. From this spot, you can see amazing views all around. To the north, you can look down at the Nant-y-moch Reservoir. To the east, you'll see Llyn Llygad Rheidiol, another beautiful lake.
What You Can See From the Summit
Besides the reservoirs, the views from Pumlumon Fach include other smaller mountains. You can spot Drosgol, which is about 550 meters (1,804 feet) high. Another peak you might see is Banc Llechwedd-mawr, standing at 560 meters (1,837 feet).
Cwm Hyddgen and Welsh History
You can also see a valley called Cwm Hyddgen from the summit. This place is famous in Welsh history. It was once a secret hideout for Owain Glyndŵr and his army.
