Alice plays with the Puppy for a short time. She feels like she is playing with a giant cart-horse. She worries he might accidentally step on her. After their game, Alice leaves the Puppy. She feels a little sad to go.

Bayard is forced by the Knave of Hearts to help hunt for Alice. Bayard tracks Alice to a tea party. This party is hosted by the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, and the Dormouse.
