Péricles Raimundo Oliveira Chamusca, born on September 29, 1965, is a Brazilian football manager. He is currently the manager for the Saudi club Neom.

Péricles Chamusca and his brother, Marcelo Chamusca, were both born in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Marcelo is also a football coach.
Péricles Chamusca's Coaching Journey
Péricles Chamusca has managed many football clubs throughout his career. He has coached teams in Brazil, Japan, and the Middle East.
Coaching in Japan
Chamusca became the coach for the Japanese club Oita Trinita in September 2005. He led the team to win their first J.League Cup title in 2008. This was a big achievement for the club! However, in the next season (2009), the team faced many challenges. They lost 14 games in a row because several key players were injured. Chamusca was then replaced by Ranko Popović on July 14.
Coaching in Brazil
After leaving Japan, Chamusca returned to Brazil. On July 31, 2009, he became the coach for Sport Recife. He took over from Emerson Leão. However, on November 7, 2009, he decided to leave the club. At that time, Sport Recife was at the very bottom of the Brasileirão championship standings.
Recent Coaching Roles
Chamusca continued his coaching career in the Middle East. On June 29, 2022, he was named the manager of Al-Taawoun. More recently, on May 29, 2024, Chamusca was appointed as the manager for Neom, a team in the First Division.
