Qri's Career Journey
Starting Out: Modeling and T-ara
Before she officially debuted as a singer, Qri worked as a model and actress. In 2004, she took part in the "2004 Korea National Ulzzang Contest." This contest helped her start her modeling career. Contestants showed off their talents, like playing piano or singing.

For five months, she was a regular on a children's science program called Daegyo Children's science program. She modeled for many brands, both Korean and international. Qri was first signed to Sniper Sound, a hip-hop music company. She was supposed to be the bassist for the rock band Six Colors. The band even performed live several times and got good reviews. But the band's debut didn't happen. Qri then moved to a different company called Core Contents Media. She was introduced to the CEO of Core Contents Media by her first company.
