Quebrada Arriba is a barrio, which is like a neighborhood or district, located in the town of Patillas, Puerto Rico. In 2010, about 711 people lived there.

History of Quebrada Arriba

After the Spanish–American War, Spain gave Puerto Rico to the United States. This happened in 1898, under an agreement called the Treaty of Paris of 1898. This made Puerto Rico a special territory of the U.S.

In 1899, the United States government counted all the people in Puerto Rico. This count is called a census. The census showed that Quebrada Arriba and a nearby area called Cacao Bajo had a total of 928 people.
