Quinchao Island is a cool island located in Chiloé Province, Chile. It sits just off the eastern coast of a much bigger island called Chiloé Island. Quinchao Island is home to about 12,000 people.

This island is special because it has two main areas, or "communes": Quinchao and Curaco de Vélez. The biggest towns on the island are Achao and Curaco de Vélez.
