Quincy Omar Monk (born January 30, 1979 – died November 24, 2015) was an American football player. He played as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). Quincy played for the New York Giants and the Houston Texans. The Giants picked him in the 2002 NFL Draft. Before that, he played college football at North Carolina.

Quincy Monk was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina. He went to White Oak High School. There, he was a star in both football and basketball.
High School Football and Basketball
In football, Quincy played several positions. He was a quarterback, a safety, and a defensive end. He was named All-conference and All-area in his junior and senior years. He also played basketball and earned similar honors.

Playing for the New York Giants
The New York Giants chose Quincy in the seventh round of the 2002 NFL Draft. He was the 246th player picked overall. Six players from the University of North Carolina were drafted that year. This was the most since 1998.
Quincy signed a contract with the Giants on June 24. In his first year, 2002, he made three tackles. In 2003, he made four tackles for the Giants. He was released by the team before the 2004 season began. During his time with New York, Quincy played in 13 games. He was inactive for 19 other games.
