Ramaswamy Venkataraman (, 4 December 1910 – 27 January 2009) was an Indian lawyer, activist and politician. He was the eighth President of India from 1987 to 1992.
Venkataraman died on 27 January 2009 at a hospital in New Delhi from multiple organ failure caused by kidney disease at the age of 98.
