Rannvijay Singha is a well-known Indian actor, television personality, host, and VJ (Video Jockey). He is most famous for his long involvement with the popular TV show MTV Roadies. He was a big part of the show from 2004 to 2020. During this time, he was first a contestant, then a host, and later a gang leader and judge for the auditions.

Rannvijay also started his acting career in Bollywood movies. His first film was Toss: A Flip of Destiny in 2009. He also appeared in other movies like London Dreams (2009) and Action Replayy (2010). In 2011, he made his debut in Punjabi movies with Dharti.

Early Life and Family

Rannvijay Singha grew up in a family with a strong military background. His father, Iqbal Singh Singha, was a retired Lt. General in the Indian Army. His mother, Baljeet Kaur, is a homemaker and a poet. Because his father's job required moving often, Rannvijay attended nine different schools across India. He finished his schooling at Army Public School in Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi. He also studied at Hansraj College at the University of Delhi.

Interestingly, Rannvijay is the only person in his family in six generations who did not join the Indian military. His younger brother, Harman Singha, is also an actor and TV personality.

Rannvijay's Personal Life

Rannvijay Singha married Priyanka Vohra on April 10, 2014. They have two children. Their daughter, Kainaat, was born on January 17, 2017. In March 2021, Rannvijay and Priyanka shared that they were expecting their second child, a son named Jahaanvir.

Rannvijay is a big fan of comics and bikes. He enjoys collecting items related to characters like Wolverine and Batman. He also owns several motorcycles, including a Suzuki GSX-R600, a Kawasaki Ninja, a Hero Honda Karizma R, and a Royal Enfield. He is also a fan of the Golden State Warriors basketball team. Besides bikes and comics, he loves football and became a co-owner of the I-League club Minerva Punjab in October 2017.

His Time at MTV India

Rannvijay first appeared on the very first season of MTV Roadies in 2003 as a contestant. After that, he became a host for almost all seasons, from Roadies 2.0 all the way to Roadies Revolution. He also hosted many other popular MTV shows. These include MTV Stuntmania, MTV Force India The Fast and The Gorgeous, MTV Splitsvilla, MTV Scooty Pep Diva, and MTV Troll Police. He eventually left MTV Roadies after many years.

Rannvijay's Film Career

Rannvijay made his debut in Bollywood with the film Toss: A Flip of Destiny in 2009. He then acted alongside famous stars like Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan in London Dreams. In 2011, he appeared in Action Replayy.

He also ventured into Punjabi cinema. His first Punjabi film was Dharti in 2011, where he starred with Jimmy Sheirgill. Later, he acted in the horror film 3 AM.
