Riall Salud Johnson (born April 20, 1978) is a Canadian former professional gridiron football player. He played as a defensive end in both the NFL and the CFL.

Early Life and High School Football
Riall Johnson grew up in Lynnwood, Washington. He went to Mariner High School there. While playing football at Mariner, he was seen as one of the best young players in the entire USA.
College Football Success
After high school, Riall went to Stanford University. He played college football for the Stanford Cardinal.
Leading the League in Sacks
In his junior year at Stanford, Riall was amazing. He tied for the most "sacks" in the Pac-10 league. A sack happens when a defensive player tackles the opposing team's quarterback behind the line of scrimmage. Riall had 13 sacks that year.
Making History at Stanford
His senior year was even better. He not only led the Pac-10 in sacks again, but he also tied for the most sacks in the entire country! He shared this top spot with Julius Peppers, who later became a big star in the NFL. Riall made history by being the first player ever to lead the Pac-10 in sacks for two years in a row.
Professional Football Career
Even with all his success in college, Riall Johnson was picked in the sixth round of the 2001 NFL draft. The Cincinnati Bengals chose him.
Time with the Cincinnati Bengals
Riall played for the Bengals for three years, from 2001 to 2003. He played in 32 games during that time. He made a total of 30 tackles. Most of these tackles happened when he was playing on special teams. Special teams are units used for plays like kickoffs and punts.
Moving to the CFL
After his time in the NFL, Riall moved to the CFL. He played for the Toronto Argonauts from 2005 to 2008. In 2009, he was traded to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Later that same year, he was traded again to the Montreal Alouettes.
Personal Life
Riall Johnson has a brother named Teyo Johnson. Teyo also played professional football as a wide receiver for the Calgary Stampeders in the CFL.
