Richard Lewis Baltimore III (born in 1947) is an American diplomat. He worked for the United States government, representing his country in different parts of the world. One of his most important jobs was being the U.S. Ambassador to Oman. He served in this role from October 16, 2002, to March 5, 2006. Before becoming an ambassador, Mr. Baltimore was the U.S. Consul General in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
