Richmond is a small village in Ohio, located in the middle of Jefferson County. In 2020, about 412 people lived there. It is part of the larger Weirton–Steubenville metropolitan area.

History of Richmond
Richmond was first planned and settled in 1815. A post office opened here just two years later, in 1817.
During the American Civil War, in 1863, a famous event called Morgan's Raid happened. A Confederate general named John Hunt Morgan and his troops passed through Richmond. They were on their way to a battle where they were defeated.
