Rif Hutton (November 28, 1952 – April 18, 2026) was an American actor. He was well-known for his role as Dr. Ron Welch in the TV series Doogie Howser, M.D., appearing from 1990 to 1993. He also played Lt. Cmdr. Alan Mattoni on the series JAG from 1997 to 2001. Many people also recognized Hutton from his appearances in KFC commercials in the 1990s, where he played Russ Beeler.

Rif Hutton was born in San Antonio, Texas. He grew up in East Orange, New Jersey. In the mid-1970s, he moved to Los Angeles. There, he began his journey to become an actor.
