Rif Hutton (born November 28, 1962) is an American actor. He is well-known for his role as Dr. Ron Welch in the TV show Doogie Howser, M.D.. He appeared in this series from 1990 to 1993. He also played Lt. Cmdr. Alan Mattoni on the show JAG from 1997 to 2001. You might also remember him from KFC commercials in the 1990s, where he played Russ Beeler.
