Rif Hutton (born November 28, 1962) is an American actor. He is well-known for his role as Dr. Ron Welch in the TV show Doogie Howser, M.D., which he appeared in from 1990 to 1993. He also played Lt. Cmdr. Alan Mattoni on the series JAG between 1997 and 2001. Many people might also remember Rif Hutton from KFC commercials in the 1990s, where he acted as Russ Beeler, a fictional KFC owner.
