Riverdale is a community in Fresno County, California, United States. It was once known as Liberty Settlement. In 2010, about 3,153 people lived here. This was an increase from 2,416 people in 2000. Riverdale is located about 23 miles (37 km) south of Fresno. It sits about 223 feet (68 meters) above sea level.
