Robertsdale is located in the southern part of Baldwin County. Its exact location is 30°33'16.034" North and 87°42'20.038" West. U.S. Route 90, also known as Old Spanish Trail, runs through the city. This road goes west about 24 miles (39 km) to Mobile and east about 35 miles (56 km) to Pensacola, Florida.
The city covers a total area of about 6.93 square miles (17.94 km²). Most of this area is land. Only a very small part, about 0.01 square miles (0.03 km²), is water.
