Rosemount is a rural locality in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, Australia. In the 2016 census, Rosemount had a population of 1585 people.
History
In the 1880s farm selections were taken up, almost all for cane-growing. A primary school was opened in 1886, continuing at least until 1956 according to Queensland Archives. It was also known as Sylvania school.
