Rossens was once a small town, or a "municipality," located in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. A canton is like a state or a large region within Switzerland. Rossens was part of the Saane district.
Becoming Part of Gibloux
On January 1, 2016, Rossens joined with several other nearby municipalities. These included Corpataux-Magnedens, Farvagny, Le Glèbe, and Vuisternens-en-Ogoz. Together, they formed a brand new, larger municipality called Gibloux. This kind of merger helps towns work together more efficiently.
