Pont-en-Ogoz is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. It's part of the Gruyère district. This town has grown over time through several mergers. In 1970, the original village of Pont-en-Ogoz joined with Villars-d'Avry to form Le Bry. Later, in 2003, Le Bry, Avry-devant-Pont, and Gumefens all came together to create the larger municipality we know today as Pont-en-Ogoz.
