Roza Kuanyshkyzy Rymbayeva (Kazakh: Роза Қуанышқызы Рымбаева, Roza Quanyşqyzy Rymbaeva; born in 1957) is a very famous singer from Kazakhstan. She was also a popular singer in the Soviet Union. About Roza Rymbayeva
Roza Rymbayeva was born on October 28, 1957. She was born in a place called Zhangiz-Tobe station in the East Kazakhstan Province. Her family worked on the railways.
She studied music and acting at an institute in Almaty, graduating in 1984. From 1976 to 1979, she was the main singer for a youth pop band called "Gulder" (which means "Flowers"). Then, in 1979, she joined another pop band called "Arai." This band was managed by her husband, T. Okapov.
Since 1979, Roza has been a main singer for Kazakhconcert. This is the biggest concert organization in Kazakhstan. She also teaches at the Republic pop-circus college.

Roza Rymbayeva has won many international singing competitions. She won the Grand Prix at the "Golden Orpheus" festival in Bulgaria in 1977. She also won a special prize at the Sopot International Song Festival in Poland that same year. In 1979, she won a contest in Istanbul, Turkey. She even won the Grand Prix at the "Gala-83" international contest in Cuba.
