What Is Rusty: A Dog's Tale About?
This movie tells the story of two young orphans, Jory (Blake Foster) and Tess (Danielle Keaton). They live with their loving grandparents, played by Hal Holbrook and Rue McClanahan. However, their cousins, Bart (Charles Fleischer) and Bertha (Laraine Newman), want to take the children away.
Why do the cousins want them? Jory and Tess have special money called trust funds from their parents who passed away. Bart and Bertha are only interested in getting this money. To make things worse, the cousins kidnap some newborn puppies! That's when Rusty the dog (Matthew Lawrence) decides to become a hero. He sets out on an exciting adventure to save the puppies and protect his family.
