Mohammad Sabbir Rahman (Bengali: মোহাম্মদ সাব্বির রহমান) is a Bangladeshi cricket player. He was born on November 22, 1991. Sabbir is from Rajshahi and plays for the Rajshahi Division in local games. He is mainly a batter, which means he hits the ball. Sometimes, he also bowls with a special style called leg spin. Sabbir started playing for his country in February 2014.

Sabbir Rahman's Cricket Journey
Sabbir Rahman has played different types of cricket for Bangladesh. These include One Day Internationals (ODIs), Test matches, and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). He is known for his exciting batting style.
Playing for Bangladesh
Sabbir made his first One Day International (ODI) appearance for Bangladesh on November 21, 2014. This match was against Zimbabwe. He scored his first century (100 runs) in an ODI match on February 23, 2019, against New Zealand. This was a big moment for him!
Asia Cup 2016 Highlights
Sabbir was a star player in the 2016 Asia Cup. He scored the most runs for Bangladesh in that tournament. He made 176 runs and was named the 'Player of the Series'. This means he was the best player in the whole tournament! He also scored a half-century (50 runs) in a match where Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka for the first time in a T20I.
Test Match Debut
Sabbir played his first Test match on October 20, 2016. This important game was against England.
Cricket World Cup 2019
In April 2019, Sabbir was chosen to be part of Bangladesh's team for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. This is one of the biggest cricket tournaments in the world.
Bangladesh Premier League (BPL)
Sabbir Rahman has also played in the BPL. This is a popular T20 cricket league in Bangladesh. He once held the record for the highest score by a single player in BPL history, scoring 122 runs. Later, another player named Chris Gayle broke his record in 2017.
Sabbir has played for several teams in the BPL. In 2018, he joined the Sylhet Sixers. In 2019, he was selected to play for the Cumilla Warriors.
