Mohammad Sabbir Rahman (Bengali: মোহাম্মদ সাব্বির রহমান) was born on November 22, 1991. He is a talented cricket player from Bangladesh. Sabbir is known for his strong batting skills. He also bowls leg spin sometimes.
He plays for the national team of Bangladesh. He also plays for the Rajshahi Division in local cricket games. Sabbir made his first international appearance in February 2014. He was the top scorer in the 2016 Asia Cup for a Test-playing nation. He was even named 'Man of the Tournament' for his amazing performance.

Sabbir Rahman's Cricket Journey
Sabbir Rahman has played in many important cricket matches. These include One Day Internationals (ODIs), Test matches, and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). He has also played in major tournaments like the Asia Cup and the Cricket World Cup.
Playing for Bangladesh: One Day Internationals
Sabbir started his journey in One Day International (ODI) cricket on November 21, 2014. His first match was for Bangladesh against Zimbabwe.
On February 23, 2019, Sabbir scored his first ever century in international cricket. This amazing achievement happened during a match against New Zealand. A century means scoring 100 runs in one game.
Sabbir's Success in the 2016 Asia Cup
The 2016 Asia Cup was a very special tournament for Sabbir. He was the highest run-scorer for Bangladesh in this competition. He scored a total of 176 runs. His average score was 44.00, which is very good.
Sabbir's batting helped Bangladesh a lot. He was chosen as the 'Player of the Series' because of his excellent performance. In one match against Sri Lanka, he scored a half-century (50 runs). This match was important because it was the first time Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka in a T20I game.
Making His Test Cricket Debut
Sabbir Rahman also played Test cricket. This is the longest form of the game. He made his Test debut on October 20, 2016. His first Test match was against the England team.

Sabbir has also been a key player in the BPL. This is a popular Twenty20 cricket league in Bangladesh.
He once held the record for the highest individual score in BPL history. He scored 122 runs in one game. However, this record was later broken by another famous cricketer, Chris Gayle, in 2017.
Sabbir has played for different teams in the BPL.
