Sandy Julien Wilhelm (born April 22, 1975), known as Sandy Vee, is a French music producer, DJ, and songwriter. He is famous for helping create many hit songs. These include "Only Girl (In the World)" by Rihanna and "Firework" by Katy Perry. He also worked on eight songs for David Guetta's album One Love.

Before becoming a producer, Sandy Vee played bass guitar in different bands. He played jazz, rock, and punk music. Later, he discovered the DJ scene in France. Today, he lives in New York City.

Sandy Vee won a Grammy Award in 2011. He won for Rihanna's song "Only Girl (In the World)". He was also nominated for Album of the Year for Katy Perry's album Teenage Dream.

How Sandy Vee Became Famous

Sandy Vee was a DJ at a party in Pacha Ibiza. David Guetta, another famous DJ, heard him play. Guetta loved Sandy's music, especially a track called "Bleep." They met and decided to work together.

Their first song together was "On The Dancefloor" for will.i.am. Sandy Vee said they worked very well and very fast together. Because of this, they kept making music. Sandy Vee helped produce eight songs on David Guetta's very popular album One Love.

After the success of One Love, many artists wanted to work with Sandy Vee. He started working with a Norwegian production team called Stargate. Sandy met them in 2009. Sandy Vee and Stargate kept making music together. They produced big hits for many stars. These include Katy Perry ("Firework"), Rihanna ("Only Girl (In the World)", "S&M"), and Ne-Yo ("Beautiful Monster"). They also worked with Britney Spears on "Selfish."
