Sandy Vee (born Sandy Julien Wilhelm on April 22, 1975) is a French DJ, record producer, and songwriter. He is the musical talent behind some of the biggest pop songs of the 2010s. You have probably heard his work on hit songs like "Only Girl (In the World)" by Rihanna and “Firework” by Katy Perry.
Before making pop music, Sandy Vee played bass guitar in jazz, rock, and punk bands. He later became interested in the DJ scene in France. Today, he lives in New York City and continues to create music. For his work, he won a Grammy Award in 2011.

A Big Break with David Guetta
Sandy Vee's career took off when he met the famous DJ David Guetta. Vee was DJing at a party in Ibiza when Guetta heard one of his songs and loved it. The two musicians decided to work together.
Their first project was a song called "On The Dancefloor" for the artist will.i.am. They discovered they worked together very well and very quickly.
