About Saori Hayami
Saori Hayami became interested in voice acting when she was in elementary school. In 2004, she joined a special training school for voice acting. Her journey began when she passed an audition for I'm Enterprise in 2006. This was at the end of her second year at the training school.
Her first voice acting job was in a drama CD called Indian Summer. In 2007, she started acting in anime shows. Her first big role was Momoka Kawakabe in Touka Gettan. Since then, she has voiced many characters in anime and other projects.
In 2015, she was ranked second for Best Voice Actress at the Newtype x Machi Asobi Anime Awards. A character she voiced, Yukino Yukinoshita, won the Best Female Character Award. Saori Hayami has also hosted her own radio show, Hayami Saori no Free Style, since 2011. This show won an award in 2017 for being the "Best Comfort Radio."
Saori Hayami is also well-known for her singing. She performs theme songs for anime and for characters she voices. For example, she sings as Kaede Takagaki in The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls series.
Her first song, "Yasashii Kibou" (やさしい希望, lit. "Gentle Hopes"), came out on August 12, 2015. She wrote the words for all the songs on that single. The main song was used as the opening theme for the anime Snow White with the Red Hair, where she voiced the main character, Shirayuki.
Her second single, "Installation/Sono Koe ga Chizu ni Naru" (その声が地図になる, lit. "The Voice Will Become A Map"), was released on February 3, 2016. She also helped write and create the music for both songs. "Sono Koe ga Chizu ni Naru" was the opening theme for the second season of Snow White with the Red Hair. Her first album, Live Love Laugh, was released on May 25, 2016.
