Saratoga is a small town located in Carbon County, Wyoming, in the United States. In 2020, about 1,702 people lived there.
Saratoga is famous for its fun events, like the Steinley Cup microbrew festival, which happens every August at Veterans Island Park. This park is a great spot for picnics and playing, located on a small island in the North Platte River. This river is special because it's known as a "Blue Ribbon Stream" for fishing, meaning it's a fantastic place to catch fish! The town also has a public swimming pool that is naturally heated by a hot spring.
The two biggest employers in Saratoga are the United States Forest Service and Carbon County School District No. 2. The town's motto is "Where The Trout Leap In Main Street," and you can read local news in the Saratoga Sun newspaper.

Famous People from Saratoga
Saratoga has been home to several interesting people who became well-known in different fields:
- C. C. Beall (1892–1970) was a commercial illustrator and portrait artist.
- C. J. Box (born 1958) is a famous novelist.
- Rodney Morris (born 1970) is a professional pool player.
- Howard Thomas Orville (1901–1960) was a naval officer and meteorologist, someone who studies weather.
- Garrett Price (1896–1979) lived in Saratoga as a boy. He later created and illustrated a Sunday comic strip called "White Boy," which was set in the town.
- Annie Proulx (born 1935) is a well-known novelist.
Education in Saratoga
Public schools in Saratoga are managed by Carbon County School District Number 2.
Saratoga has two main schools: Saratoga High School and Saratoga Elementary School. The town used to have a middle school, but it was closed in 2005. After that, middle school students started attending either the elementary school or the high school.
An old school building in Saratoga has been turned into the Platte Valley Community Center. This center is a busy place where concerts, talks, plays, and other community events are held.
Saratoga also has a public library, which is part of the Carbon County Library System.
