The Mystery at WrestleMania
Scooby-Doo and Shaggy win a special trip to WWE City. They won by beating the hardest level of WWE's new video game. Because of their win, they get to watch WrestleMania for free!
Scooby and Shaggy convince Fred, Daphne, and Velma to join them. On their way, the Mystery Machine almost hits a raccoon and crashes into a ditch. They meet John Cena, his trainer Cookie, and Cookie's nephew Ruben. John Cena helps them by lifting the Mystery Machine back onto the road. They also meet Bayard, a hunter who is not happy that WWE built their city in his forest. John Cena gives the gang VIP tickets to the next WWE event as an apology.
At the show, Mr. McMahon shows off the WWE Championship belt. This important belt will be given to a winner at WrestleMania. The gang then gets a tour of WWE's training camp before going to their cabins.
Later that night, Daphne and Velma hear Ruben arguing with Cookie. Ruben wants to be a WWE wrestler, but Cookie doesn't want him to because of an old leg injury. Meanwhile, Scooby and Shaggy see a monster called the Ghost Bear! They run away, and WWE wrestlers try to help. But the monster is too strong for Triple H and Brodus Clay. The Ghost Bear throws Sin Cara's car at a water tower and then disappears.
The next morning, Ms. Richards, a WWE executive, tells the gang that bear attacks have been happening for weeks. Mr. McMahon asks the gang to solve the Ghost Bear mystery. This is important to keep the WWE belt safe. John Cena and Sin Cara explain the legend of the Ghost Bear. It started over 100 years ago with a wrestling bear named Vicious. Sin Cara's ancestor, Sin Cara Grande, defeated Vicious. The bear was angry and caused trouble until Sin Cara Grande chased it into a cave. This fight caused Sin Cara Grande a career-ending leg injury. Sin Cara believes the spirit of the bear has returned because of WrestleMania.
The Stolen Belt and a Plan
The next morning, Ms. Richards tells everyone the WWE belt has been stolen! Scooby is found with the belt around his waist. Security footage seems to show him taking it. Scooby is arrested, but Velma proves he was hypnotized when he took the belt. Ruben figures out that the WWE video game had flashing lights that made Scooby do things without knowing it.
Mr. McMahon offers Scooby and Shaggy a deal. If they can beat Kane at WrestleMania, they will be free. Cookie and AJ Lee give Scooby and Shaggy quick wrestling training. That night, the gang and John Cena explore the forest. They find the bear cave. Inside, they discover books about hypnotism and plans for a special device. They also find a calendar showing the culprit plans to strike at WrestleMania.
Suddenly, the Ghost Bear appears and chases them through a storm drain. They escape when John Cena throws the Ghost Bear away. They realize the storm drain is right under WWE City! The gang tells Ms. Richards about the Ghost Bear. Cookie suggests canceling WrestleMania, but Ms. Richards disagrees. Fred then suggests they use WrestleMania to catch the Ghost Bear.
Catching the Ghost Bear
During the main event, Velma realizes the WWE belt is actually the special device they found plans for. The gang discovers the belt is fake, and the real device is about to go off! John Cena tries to get rid of it, but it activates. This shuts off the power underground.
The Ghost Bear appears and causes chaos in the arena. The WWE wrestlers use green fireworks to light up the stage. Scooby uses his dance moves to confuse Kane. The Ghost Bear comes to the wrestling ring. Ruben, in his wrestling gear, confronts the monster. Both are launched into the ring by a hidden catapult! The ring is then surrounded by a steel cage. John Cena, Sin Cara, Kane, and Ruben hold down the monster. Scooby jumps from the top rope and lands a belly bomb, which breaks the ring!
The Ghost Bear is revealed to be Cookie! He was angry at WWE because his injury ended his wrestling career too soon. He planned to steal the belt using Scooby and ruin WWE's reputation. Cookie is taken away by the police. Mr. McMahon offers Ruben a spot on the WWE team. He then gives the WWE belt to Scooby and Shaggy!
