Scott Tweedie was born on January 29, 1988. He is a well-known Australian television and radio host. Scott has worked on many popular shows. He was a host for the E! Network in the United States. In Australia, he hosted the music show The Loop on Network 10. He was also a reporter for Studio 10. Kids might know him from the fun show Prank Patrol on ABC Me.
In September 2022, Scott was announced as a host for the new Australian Idol. This show aired in early 2023 on the Seven Network. He hosted it alongside Ricki Lee Coulter.

Scott's Career Journey
Scott Tweedie first thought about becoming a banker. But he soon decided that he wanted to work in radio. He studied commerce and finance at university. After graduating, he became a radio presenter for Nova 106.9 in Brisbane.
Starting at ABC
In 2009, Scott became a host on the children's TV show Prank Patrol. It started on December 4 on ABC3 (now ABC Me). This show was based on a Canadian series. Kids on the show got to plan and play pranks on their friends or family. Scott worked with "Ninjas" and experts to help the kids create their pranks.
In 2011, Scott and Kayne Tremills hosted Splatalot!. This was a medieval-themed game show for kids. It first aired on ABC3 on November 5. In 2013, Scott also hosted WAC: World Animal Championships. He hosted this show with Amberley Lobo on ABC3.
Working at Network 10
In January 2012, Scott started hosting The Loop. He co-hosted it with Ash London, and later Liv Phyland. This music show aired on Eleven (now 10 Peach). The show featured the top 20 downloaded songs each week. It also showed classic music, new Australian songs, and funny online videos. Scott filmed over 400 episodes of The Loop. He interviewed many famous people. These included Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, and Tom Cruise.
In December 2014, Scott hosted a weekly movie show called Movie Juice. He worked with Jessica Tovey and Alicia Malone. The first episode aired on December 16, 2014.
In November 2016, Scott tried acting. He had a guest role in the TV show Neighbours. He played a character named Derek Meeps.
In January 2018, Scott traveled to Africa. He hosted an online series called Edge of the Jungle. This show went behind the scenes of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!. Scott also joined Studio 10 as a reporter.
In 2019, Scott filled in as a host for Dancing with the Stars Australia. He took over when the regular host, Grant Denyer, was injured.

In December 2019, it was announced that Scott was moving to New York. He became a host for E! News and Pop of the Morning. He started these shows on January 6, 2020. During the time of COVID-19 lockdowns, Scott hosted an online show. It was called HappE! Hour on Instagram Live. He made drinks and interviewed celebrities.
In late 2020, Scott moved to Los Angeles. This happened after E! News and Pop of the Morning stopped being filmed in New York.
Joining Seven Network
In September 2022, Scott was announced as a host for the new Australian Idol. This show aired in 2023 on the Seven Network. He hosted it with Ricki Lee Coulter.
Scott's Life Outside of Work
Scott Tweedie was born in Brisbane. He went to a boys' school. He was the captain of the cross country team in his final year of school in 2005. Scott lived in Sydney for several years. He has two older sisters.
Scott loves surfing and used to go a few days a week when he lived in Australia. His favorite food is Japanese. He also enjoys junk food sometimes.
