Scott Tweedie (born 29 January 1988) is an Australian TV and radio host. He is known for hosting fun shows like The Loop and the kids' series Prank Patrol. Scott has also worked in the United States for the E! Network. In 2023, he became a host for the new Australian Idol show.

Scott Tweedie's TV Journey
Scott Tweedie first planned to work in finance. But he soon realized his passion was for radio. He started as a radio presenter for Nova 106.9 in Brisbane.
Early TV Shows for Kids
In 2009, Scott became a host on the children's TV show Prank Patrol. This show aired on ABC3, a channel just for kids. In Prank Patrol, kids get to plan and carry out a prank on someone they know. Scott, along with his helpful Ninjas, would guide them.
In 2011, Scott co-hosted another fun kids' show called Splatalot!. This was a game show with a medieval theme. Kids would compete in physical challenges. In 2013, he also hosted WAC: World Animal Championships. He worked with Amberley Lobo on this show, also on ABC3.
Hosting Music and Entertainment Shows
In January 2012, Scott started co-hosting The Loop. This was a popular music TV show on Network Ten. The show featured the top songs, classic hits, and funny online videos. Scott filmed over 400 episodes of The Loop. He got to interview many famous people, like Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, and Tom Cruise.
Scott also hosted a weekly movie show called Movie Juice. He worked with Jessica Tovey and Alicia Malone on this show. In 2016, Scott even had a guest role as Derek Meeps in the TV show Neighbours.
In 2018, Scott traveled to Africa to host an online series. It was called Edge of the Jungle. This show went behind the scenes of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!. He also became a reporter for Studio 10.
In 2019, Scott temporarily hosted Dancing with the Stars. He stepped in when the main host was injured.
Working in the United States
In late 2019, Scott announced he was leaving Network 10. He moved to New York for a new job. From January 2020, he hosted E! News and Pop of the Morning. During the COVID-19 lockdown, Scott hosted an online show called HappE! Hour. He would make drinks and interview celebrities from his home. Later in 2020, he moved to Los Angeles.
Back in Australia with Seven Network
In March 2022, Scott returned to Network 10 for a short time. He filled in as a guest host for The Amazing Race Australia 6.
In September 2022, it was announced that Scott would be a host for the new Australian Idol. This popular singing competition returned in 2023 on the Seven Network. He hosts it alongside Ricki Lee Coulter.
Scott's Life Outside of TV
Scott was born in Brisbane, Australia. He went to a boys' school and was the captain of his cross country running team. He lived in Sydney for many years. Scott has two older sisters.
Scott loves to surf and would go often when he lived in Australia. His favorite food is Japanese, but he also enjoys junk food sometimes.
Once, when interviewing the singer Kesha, Scott playfully asked if she would give him a tattoo!
