Grant Denyer (born 12 September 1977) is a well-known Australian TV and radio host, and also a talented motor racing driver. He has worked for big TV channels like Seven Network and Network 10. Grant is famous for hosting popular game shows such as Family Feud and Australia's Got Talent. Currently, he hosts Deal or No Deal on Network 10.
In 2018, Grant won a special award called the Gold Logie Award for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television. This award is given to Australia's most popular TV star!

Grant's TV Career Journey
Grant Denyer started his media career in 1997. He worked as a news reporter in Wagga Wagga. Later, he moved to Sydney to report on V8 Supercar races for Network Ten. There, a TV producer named Adam Boland noticed his talent.
Boland offered Grant a full-time job as the weather presenter for Sunrise. He worked there from 2004 to 2006. Grant left this job to spend more time with his family. However, he continued to be a special reporter for Sunrise.
Grant won the fourth season of Dancing with the Stars. He also hosted It Takes Two from 2006 to 2008. He has presented other shows like All Time Greatest Aussie Bloopers and Guinness World Records. Grant even holds five official Guinness World Records himself!
From 2006 to 2011, he was the host of Carols in the Domain in Sydney. In 2007, he was part of the commentary team for the V8 Supercar Series.
In 2010, Grant returned to Sunrise as the weather presenter. He stayed until March 2013, when he resigned again to be with his family. He also hosted Iron Chef Australia in 2010.
Later in 2013, Grant hosted Slide Show and Million Dollar Minute. He left Million Dollar Minute for family reasons and was replaced by Simon Reeve.

Awards and Recognition
Grant has been nominated four times for the Logie Award for Best Presenter. This is a big award for TV hosts in Australia. He was nominated in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2015 for his work on shows like It Takes Two and Family Feud.
In 2016, Grant won a Silver Logie award for Family Feud, recognizing it as the Best Entertainment Program.
In 2018, Grant won the most important award, the Gold Logie Award for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television. He also won the Logie Award for Most Popular Presenter that year.

In 2017, Grant joined 2Day FM to host a breakfast radio show called Em, Grant and Ed. Later, Ash London joined the show.
In August 2019, the show Grant, Ed and Ash ended. This was because the radio station wanted to try something new.

Grant's Motor Racing Career
Grant Denyer is also a professional race car driver. He started racing in 2005 with Dick Johnson Racing. In his first year, he won the Mike Kable Rookie of the Year award. He finished in the top 10 in his debut season.
In 2006, Grant raced in big events like the Sandown 500 and the famous Bathurst 1000. He finished 9th overall at Bathurst with his teammate Alex Davison. Grant also did well in tarmac rallying, finishing on the podium in the 2007 Suncoast Rally.
He competed in the Bathurst 24-hour Endurance Event in 2002 and 2003. In 2003, he finished second in his class and sixth overall.
Grant won his first Supercars race in 2008 at Sandown. He had his best racing season in 2009, finishing fourth in the 2009 Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series.
In 2011, Grant was the main driver for a new V8 Supercar team. This team was part of a TV show called Shannons Supercar Showdown. His co-driver for the Bathurst 1000 was Cam Waters, who won the competition. Cam Waters later became a full-time Supercars driver.
Grant also raced in the Australian GT Championship in 2015 and 2016. In 2016, he won the Australian Endurance Championship with Nathan Morcom.
Grant's Personal Life
Grant Denyer was born in Gosford, New South Wales. When he was 13, his parents separated, and he moved to Hallam, Victoria. He spent his holidays on his family's farm in Ariah Park.
Grant is married to Cheryl Rogers, who is a TV producer. They got married in 2010 and have three daughters.
Grant's 2008 Injury
On 17 September 2008, Grant had an accident while practicing for a monster truck event. He broke his lower back in eight places. He was taken to hospital and his recovery took several months. Even though he was seriously injured, he was able to return to host Australia's Got Talent in 2009.
