Coleridge Gardner Tillman (born January 17, 1982), better known by his stage name Sebastian Kole, is an American singer, songwriter, and music producer. He is famous for writing hit songs for some of the biggest names in music. He is signed to the famous Motown Records label.

Kole is the creative mind behind many popular songs. He co-wrote the hit single "Goin' In" for Jennifer Lopez and Flo Rida. He also worked very closely with singer Alessia Cara. Kole helped write and produce her entire first album, including the breakout song "Here".

Early Life and Musical Beginnings

Sebastian Kole was born in Birmingham, Alabama. His journey into music started at a very young age in his church. When he was only five years old, he was already singing in the choir and playing the drums.

At age 13, he started to explore rap music and began writing his own songs. This love for writing later grew into a passion for singing by the time he went to college.

Building a Career in Music

While studying Music Technology at the University of Alabama, Kole performed at local bars and clubs to practice his skills. After graduating, he moved back home to focus on songwriting.

His big break came in 2012 when he co-wrote the song "Goin' In" for Jennifer Lopez and Flo Rida. This success encouraged him to move to Los Angeles. There, he signed a record deal with EP Entertainment and Motown Records.

In 2014, Kole started working with his label-mate Alessia Cara. He was a key part of her first album, Know-It-All, co-writing and co-producing most of the songs. He also wrote music for the popular TV show Grey's Anatomy.

Kole's Own Music

Besides writing for others, Sebastian Kole is also a recording artist. He released his own album, Soup, in 2016. Before the full album came out, he released an EP (a short album) called Sebastian Kole and three singles: "Home," "Love's On the Way," and "Love Doctor."
