Sebastián Ignacio González Valdés (born 14 December 1978) is a former Chilean footballer. He was known as Chamagol and played as a striker.

Club Career Highlights
Sebastián González started his football journey at Colo-Colo, a top club in Chile. He played there for four seasons. During this time, he scored 27 goals in 77 games.
In June 2002, he moved to Atlante, a team in Mexico. In his first season, he scored 13 goals in 19 games. The next season, he scored 16 goals in the same number of games. This made him the top scorer in the league!
González later moved to UANL Tigres in January 2006. He was then loaned to other teams like Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz and Olimpo de Bahía Blanca. In 2008, he joined León in Mexico.
In 2009, he returned to Colo-Colo for a short loan. He scored an important goal in a 3–1 win against Palmeiras. After this, he played for teams in Cyprus, Mexico, Bolivia, and Venezuela. He finished his career playing for Palestino and Deportes Temuco in Chile.
Playing for Chile
González also played for the Chile national football team. He was part of the team at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. There, his team won a bronze medal, which was a great achievement!
He also played in the 2004 Copa América tournament in Peru. Between 2001 and 2005, he played 17 games for his country. He scored 6 goals for the national team during this time.
Personal Life
Sebastián González is the nephew of Francisco Chamaco Valdés. His uncle was also a famous footballer for Colo-Colo. Because of his uncle's nickname, Sebastián is known as Chamagol.
After Football
After retiring from playing, Sebastián González started working in sports media. He has been a commentator on radio and TV channels. These include Radio La Clave, Canal del Fútbol (CDF), and ADN Radio.
He also studied and became a Sport Manager. In 2021, he worked as the sports director for Deportes Iberia. In 2022, he became the Sports Manager for Deportes Recoleta.
