Early Life and Learning
Shannon K was born in Mumbai, India. She loved music and acting from a young age. She studied music at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Later, she learned acting at the famous Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in the US.
Her Career
Singing
Shannon K released her first song, "A Long Time," in 2018. She worked with the artist Poo Bear on this song. The music video for "A Long Time" has been watched over 41 million times on YouTube.
She also teamed up with music producer Kyle Townsend for a song called "Give Me Your Hand." This song was made to support people who have been bullied. The well-known Billboard magazine first shared the song. Shannon's younger sister, Annabel, helped write the song. It supports the anti-bullying group Love is Louder. Shannon has shared that she was bullied when she was younger. Because of this, she continues to help with this important cause. "Give Me Your Hand" won an HMMA Award for best original song.
Shannon has also worked with Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam. They released a love song called "OMT" in November 2018. She also co-wrote the song "It’s Magical" with the lyricist Sameer.
Acting
Shannon K started her acting career in American movies. She had a small role in The Big Feed. She is currently working on a TV series called Mystical Inheritance of Adina Hassan. She acts alongside American actor Ryan Kelley in this show. She is also working on a short film titled Rolling.
