Shawnee is a small community in Ohio, United States. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it is a special area set aside by the government for counting people. Shawnee is located in Miami Township, which is part of Hamilton County. It is about 21 miles (34 km) west of downtown Cincinnati. In 2020, about 747 people lived in Shawnee.

Where is Shawnee Located?
Shawnee is in the southwest corner of Ohio. It sits between two important rivers: the Ohio River and the Great Miami River.
- To the south, across the Ohio River, is Boone County, Kentucky.
- To the west, across the Great Miami River, is Dearborn County, Indiana.
- North of Shawnee is Whitewater Township.
- To the east are the villages of Cleves and North Bend.
Much of the higher land in Shawnee is part of the Shawnee Lookout County Park. This area is also home to the Shawnee Lookout Archeological District, which has important historical sites.
