The Shepards River is a river about 13.6 miles (21.9 km) long. It flows through parts of western Maine and eastern New Hampshire in the United States. This river is a branch of the larger Saco River system.

Where the Shepards River Flows

The Shepards River begins in the town of Conway, New Hampshire. It starts among the foothills of the White Mountains.

From there, the river flows southeast. It crosses a small part of Eaton, New Hampshire. Then, it turns northeast and enters Brownfield, Maine.

As it moves through Maine, the river passes by several small villages. These include West Brownfield, Brownfield, and East Brownfield. Finally, the Shepards River joins the Saco River near Frost Mountain.
