Sidney Green (born January 4, 1961) is an American former professional basketball player and coach. He played college basketball for the UNLV Runnin' Rebels. In 1983, the Chicago Bulls picked him in the National Basketball Association (NBA) draft. After playing for ten years in the NBA, he became a college coach. Today, he works as a team ambassador for the Chicago Bulls.

Sidney Green was born in Brooklyn, New York. He is 6 feet 9 inches tall. He played as a forward and center. Sidney went to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). He played for the UNLV Runnin' Rebels basketball team.

In 1983, Green was chosen as an All-American player. His last game for UNLV was a loss to North Carolina State in the 1983 tournament.
