Simon Pierro (born October 2, 1978, in Ettlingen) is a famous German magician and TV presenter. He is especially known for his amazing magic tricks using an iPad.

About Simon Pierro
Simon Pierro grew up in Waldbronn, a town in South Germany. He now lives in Munich. When he was 15, something interesting happened in New York City. A street magician tricked him out of some money with a shell game. This made Simon's sister give him a book about magic. That book started his passion for magic and card tricks!
His Unique Magic Style
Simon Pierro's magic shows are very modern. They use ideas from popular culture. He doesn't look like the old-fashioned magician with a top hat. He won many awards for his stage show called "The American Dream - From Rags to Riches." In 2002, the Magic Circle of Germany named him Magician of the Year. He also became the German champion in the World Championships of Magic. In 2004, he received the Siegfried & Roy Award in Las Vegas.
Becoming a TV Star
After finishing his studies, Simon was invited to a German TV show. This show was called Menschen der Woche (People of the Week). Later, he joined another popular Saturday evening show. It was called Verstehen Sie Spaß? This show is like Candid Camera in Germany. Simon became a regular on the show. He has played magic pranks in more than 20 episodes.
Simon has also appeared on TV shows around the world. He also works behind the scenes as a consultant. For example, he helped create an illusion for Heidi Klum's show Germany's Next Top Model.
The iPad Magician
Since 2008, Simon Pierro has focused on digital magic. This mixes magic with new technology. He is now famous as "The iPad Magician." He was the first German magician invited to perform at an Apple Store. He uses Apple's tablet and sleight of hand skills. He makes objects seem to come right out of the iPad screen. He also makes the iPad connect to the real world. One of his most famous tricks is serving beer. He attaches a beer tap to the iPad screen. Then, he pours real beer from it for the audience!
Amazing Online Videos
Simon Pierro's iPad magic videos are very popular online. Videos like "Preview of iOS 5" and "iPad Horror" have been watched millions of times. By June 2015, his videos had over 80 million views!
He also appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. A video of his performance there was viewed over 20 million times on YouTube. This was more than any other magician on Ellen's show!
Working with Big Brands
Simon has also appeared on Angry Birds Toons. He was the Official Angry Birds Magician. More recently, he has worked with LEGO. He performs his iPad magic where he builds different LEGO objects on the screen. Then, he hands them to children in real life!
